As someone who visits Chisinau frequently due to having a Moldovan partner and a half Moldovan son, I really enjoyed reading this. I find Chisinau a fascinating place - the centre at times more developed than Bucharest - cleaner, well kept, less ugly graffitti on beautiful buildings - and a melting pot of cultural mixture due to its history in the USSR - next time you go, eat Georgian food if you haven't already. It's also quite beautiful in the Summer - nice terraces, trees along the boulevards. When I'm there, I always find it hard to believe that its one of the least visited places in Europe.
